cayuga Posted October 30, 2007 Report Share Posted October 30, 2007 hi all, this is my first post here. i have a hp dv9580 with a 8400 GS i use avid xpress pro (that works perfectly with 6xxx or 7xxx series) and, as theatre mode was disabled on 8xxx drivers, even if the program runs smoothly, i can't use a very important feature called "full screen play" (it reports that the driver doesn't support it). it can seem incredible, but with a newer, powerful, video card i lost a feature that i can have with any older 6600... :) so, my questions: 1) is it possible to modify the INF so that i can use 91.85 driver version (supported by avid) with my card? (i don't think so, but asking is better...) or 2) is it possible to "emulate" an older card? i don't care if i loose newer feature, i need to use the 91.85 driver version! and 3) anyone knows if nvidia will ever re-enable that very useful feature? thanks in advance, cayuga Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
