I just installed these drivers on my eurocom divine-x(built off the clevo M570RU) the video card in it is the 8700m GT and i am unable to setup dual displays with my tv the screen flickers a few times and i can see my background pic and then the screen goes black again. dual displays works perfectly fine with my 17" monitor which i also have hooked up to it and i have encountered this problem with v169.02. has any one encountered this problem or no how to resolve it?

I also no that my TV works fine with my laptop when i have the drivers from the eurocom web site installed but the version of those drivers does not have the tray icon or nview desktop manager so i have to run multiple display wizard every time i want to go between displays which is an inconvenience any help would be appreciated.

I have been testing this drivers for a while on my 8600M GT. They are working pretty well (no stabillity problems, no strange artefacts etc.). Indeed there is a slight increase in performance eg. in Crysis, but unfortunately (as I expected) for the cost of observable quality loss. To be more precise: I've spoted few lightning "bugs", eg. if you leave some area (enlighten by a point light source) far enough, but you still can see it, it happens quite often that the lightning just disappears. Also there is some texture processing disimprovement. Some textures are loaded in heavily decreased resolution (observed mostly on stones and distant hills) and you have to get very close to such a texture in order to get it reloaded in full resolution. Sometimes even this doesn't help.

As for the performance in Crysis - I'm playing on 800x600, all settings to High except Shaders and Shadows quality which are set to Med. It runs smooth with reserve.

I made a comparison with 163.75 - the performance is slightly worse WRT 169.04 but you don't get this nasty effects.

As always, you get something, you loose something...

Cheers!

Went from the 84.69 Dell drivers to these drivers and got 5 fps boost in Crysis but can't get catalyst page to appear ( just get " encountered an error and need to close" message).

Sound studders at times when playing Crysis.

Alright im gonna try this with my 8600M, i keep getting blue screen nf4_disp.dll errors out of nowhere. Only thing i can think of is cuz its really hot in my room right now and it's overheating.

This may be a stupid question, but i havent found a clear answer on the forums. From the guides ive read, it says nothing about uninstalling previous drivers. It simply shows the "update driver" process.

Is it ok to do that? Or is aan uninstall on stock driver necessary?

Hello,

I have a Dell Inspiron 9300 with a 6800 Ultra. The 9300 BIOS are still installed. I am looking for a modified/hacked XPS2 BIOS that were at one time available for downloading off the internet back in about 2007.

Does anyone have any recomendations on an XP driver that will work with my laptop's 6800 Ultra either with the 9300 BIOS or with hacked XPS2 BIOS?

Thanks,

Paul

You should be able to use any driver with an included modded INF not just these ancient official ones.
