hi guys,

i have an aurora 7700 (athlon fx-60 on a clevo d900k board) with a 6800 go (soon to be 7800 gtx). i tried downloading the 84.26 driver along with whitetigerx7's INF file for the 84.20 series but i ran into problems during the install. first off, i properly uninstalled using safe mode, driver cleaner and ccleaner. then i tried to install the 84.26 driver i downloaded here but the install had to be aborted due to some .dll files missing or something. i then tried to install with alienware's 84.26 driver + whitetiger's INF on their downloads section on their page but had no luck again.

can anyone give me some advice in getting these custom drivers working?

thanks.

1. Download a driver of your choice. Ex. 165.01

2. Download Accompanied .inf

3. Extract 165.01 into a Folder you create, ie. Folder 165.01

4. Move .inf into extracted Folder and make sure it overwrites previous .inf.

5. Click on "Setup" within extracted folder and that should install the device driver.

6. Reboot.

If you have problems again, uninstall the driver and try updating the driver from the "Device Manager". Keep trying until you find a driver that works for your system.
