Hi.

The HP people doesnt update the drivers of NVIDIA GO 7600 for XP since 2006. When i try install the pack drivers of nvidia.com, the installation says: "Not found chipset".

I want update the drivers for better work in games like Bioshock, how i can update the drivers?

Thx a lot.

You need to use the modified inf file.

As said above ^ edit the inf file on the latest drivers (I'm running the Go 7600 on the latest Nvidia 163.75 driver)

There are 2 lines to add to the inf file

Under the following headings slot the added line in -

Under the heading - [NVIDIA.Mfg.NTx86.6.0]

add the line below

%NVIDIA_G73.DEV_0398.1% = nv_NV3x, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0398

Then under the heading - ; Localizable Strings

add the line below

NVIDIA_G73.DEV_0398.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600"

This edit then allows the driver package to see the go 7600 and installs fine - I've been running it for 6 months now playing games such as Bioshock and it runls like a dream - remember in vista to add the Nvidia vista update which fixes Nvidia reliability issues

:)
