sasskinn12
Why in windows xp My geforce Go 7400 is 256Mb and in Vista 384mb (turbo cache). Can i run it in windows XP on 384mb? Does Vista is better for gaming? :S
Bill
The card probably only actually has 64 or 128 MB of graphics RAM, it then borrows system RAM. Why it borrows more in VISTA would have to do either with the driver, the amount of virtual memory you set up in each OS, and the amount actually available. If you use the same driver in XP that you run in vista and increase your virtual RAM limit you should get the same result in XP. Or else this is just another VISTA RAM bug that explains the slow performance. For a graphics card that slow you really don't need that much video ram anyway.
