Slakt
Hi! Just wanna say for starters, this is a great forum, and it has helped me understand a lot! I've been upgrading my Amilo Pi 1536 with a new CPU (Core 2 Duo T7600), and 3gb's of RAM, and replaced the rather lousy X1400-card with a fully working X700 (it ain't got Shader Model 3.0, but seems to be more powerful overall). But as I understand, the X700 is quite ageing... and it would be nice with SM 3.0 as well, so I intend to replace it. I've read here that the most powerful solution so far is the X1900, powerhungry and somewhat hot (but I can live with that, just replacing the PSU if needed...) So, is the X1900 still the most powerful choice to date, for this laptop model? My second question is regarding Direct X 10... is there any talk of MXM-cards under development, with this feature? I've not heard of any such cards with DX10, so far, available. Thankful for any replies!
Ice-Tea
Hi, I think you should understand that 'somewhat hot' is a bit of an understatement. Besides that, cards are currently out of stock, expected back around mid-december or so. If you are fine with all that, drop me a line :) Ice-Tea
