Guest JohnSketch Posted November 20, 2007 Report Share Posted November 20, 2007 New to this forum so be nice! :) What are the compatibilities within the m9700 (mxmIII) iirc - recently had some issues with the 7900gs (256mb single card) within it, and curious to what possibilities there are in upgrading it to a 7950 or even one of the newer 8800M ( we could only hope! ). And although doubtful, do you happen to have any information on where I can purchase these cards without having to go through Alienware (will only sell the 7900gs 512mb to me citing that the 7950 is incompatible due to power requirements on the mobo *rolls eyes*) Any information you could give me would be greatly appreciated!
