Majoko
Hello and big thanks fahd03. I've just tried to get the 169.09 driver and installed them. Since that the overclocking works. Thanks to both of us for the help. But i have just one question left: How high can i overclock my core and memory bus of my GeForce7300
Grominou
With my laptop I can overclock up to around 450 - 460 (core)/815 - 820 (memory), depending on the driver I use. I usually set the clock to chosen values, and play BF2. If values are too high, the screen quickly display graphic errors, so I set my clocks to lower values until I can play without these graphic artefacts... And I keep an eye on the temperature ! Guest Guest
used atitool on geforce go 7300 core:500 mem:860 looks OK Didn't try with a game but I think it will do OK. I don't have any special cooling component, just opened the cover and using a notebook cooler fan. I don't want to risk the OC'ed GPU with games, but did a D3D Rightmark benchmark and can say that it works little bit faster. Geometry Processing Speed Normal test1 : 35.09 ----------- OC'ed test1 : 41.30 Normal test2 : 16.26 ----------- OC'ed test2 : 20.37 Pixel Shading Normal test1 : 208.44 ---------- OC'ed test1 : 265.59 Normal test2 : 104.24 ---------- OC'ed test2 : 140.69 Point Sprites Normal test : 114.31 ---------- OC'ed test : 140.29 It is a low end GPU with a few processing units. You can't expect much from it. But yeah it still does all new games well, in low settings though.
