kuruptz Posted November 22, 2007 Report Share Posted November 22, 2007 (edited) Hey guys, I have the updated drivers from here 169.04 and i still get very poor performance in timeshift, and any new game even on lowest possible settings and resolution. Anyone have any ideas? I sore the guide to flash my video card to unlock it or something... should i do that? Will it heat up too much and wreck my laptop as dell limit it to reduce heat dont they? How can i tell which REV of the 7900gs i have? Also what speeds can i overclock too without damage to my laptop? Thanks alot. kuruptz Posted November 22, 2007 Author Report Share Posted November 22, 2007 I have loaded the unlocked firmware, now were do i go to overclock? and what is a safe speed to overclock to? that wont generate dangerous heat. 7900GS rev 0 with 790GSUON firmware.
