Guest pierre-etienne
Hi, i would like to know if someone knows how to emulate vertex shaders in order to run call of duty 4 on a laptop Geforce 420 mx with 32 mo. Some games had the same issues and were fixed by people. Such as Heros of Might and Magic 5. So i believe it is possible. :)
Bill
If you want vertex shaders to work you will need to use 4x series drives, anything newer lacks the vertex shader emulation. If I were you I would just give up on trying to run COD4 on that graphics card. You just need to get a new computer. (nows a good time to get SLI laptops)
Guest Guest
I'll give a try with a 4x seriers driver. I'm not sure the game will launch without a modification because it requires 128 mo. Anyway i can still play it on my desktop pc. It could have been fun playing a little on laptop when out, which is rather often. thx
