Garandhero Posted December 14, 2007 Report Share Posted December 14, 2007 Hey Everyone, I got a 8600GT 256MB Card, and such, and when I first got my laptop from Dell Windows Index or w/e gave me a Graphics score of I think it was 4.8 Since, then I re-installed vista (clean to get rid of all the Dell s***) and installed the 169.01 drivers. So Since I did that, Graphics Score for Windows Aero dropped to 2.0..... Now, my computer runs just fine, the new drivers are awesome and I even overclocked So i cant figure out why WMI shows me having a lower score now than when I got it from Dell... Is it because they arent WHQL drivers? Anyway... if anyone knows what this is all about let me know. (ill add that after a fresh install of vista, i had some WMI troubles that have me going to command prompt and adding lines like Net_LocalUser or something just to get it working again, something to do with AIM i guess) Anyway, all my other scores are still were they should be, just my graphics scores are acting up. 3dmarx06 score is like 3800-3900.
