Hey guys, just wondering, does a 7600GO = a 7600GT/GS in your driver notes? or is does this card require a different set/type of drivers?

My current issue is that when I'm using World of Warcraft I tend to, after a few seconds / minutes get a 'hard lock' where alt tab / ctrl alt delete etc doesnt work only thing that can stop it is if I hardreset. I am wondering what could be causing this (i also watched a movie last night in Windows Media Player full screen and it turned black after 20minutes and I could only hear sound).

Thanks :)

try look into the power managment section in windows, maybe the "Turn off Screen" settings something like that, try using the 158.45 version of driver on here if you ever run into trouble, since that one is quite reliable. As for the Go, I believe it is LOWER then both GT and GS, remembering it has something to do with being actually intergrated to the motherboard.

I still need to look into the Go, Gs, GT thing, but if you have found info about it email me at morrismuphy@gmail.com(or if you have any further questions)

GeForce Go 7600 is a MXM based graphics module card for laptops. They aren't motherboard chipsets.

It kinda goes like this as far as speed and performance:

Go 7600

7600

7600 GS

Go 7600 GT

7600 GT

By a rule Go chips are less powerful due to design for low power consumptions. They have less pipelines and the bus transfer rate is lower, but models of Go's can outperform some desktop models to an extent.

Feer that may well be a WoW bug, some people with nVidia cards have had hard locks since patch 2.3.0. It's been on the wow forums somewhere (I can't find it right now)
