fahd03
Tried my oc above playin cod4 n crysis...run ok.. But i don have any idea y ur card cant oc higher than ur current.. But at that point..u should not worry much.. The clock high already.. adjust the voltage? Wat software did u use to do that? Oh yeah..anyway..i run 3dmark also at that freqs..didnt notice much bout the temp.. Heh3 Edited December 18, 2007 by fahd03

amoney3
Hey guys can have a small tutorial on how to overclock this card? I'm currently running an ASUS Lamborghini VX2S with a 2.2Ghz Core 2 Duo, I've tried before but Riva Tuner keeps defaulting back to the stock settings. Thanks for any help. SeanO
505/420 getting 3900~ in 3D06. Stability 100% so I think I have plenty of room to move the speeds up. Running the 169.17 drivers.

Valkirie
I don't know, and you know what ? i'm pretty sure, with perfect Voltage / Frequencies report we could get higher. Overclocking more the UC is useless, 640Mhz would only allow you to gain 1fps.... But if could boost memory, we could gain like 10fps, I allready tried to change voltage to 1.7 from 1.2 but it looks like it doesn't change memory voltage. We need to work on IT, as computer like Inspiron 1520 got good fans we have lot of work to do...

It's not realy freezing, i get everything loops for 10 sec then i get the next sounds for 10 secs, ect... See what i mean ? Like if the CPU was 10Mhz... ><

I was told that the cards are released in "batches" and that some arent as capable as others.. maybe thats the prob? but whats your graphic card? Garandhero
Same than yours, dell Nvidia Geforce 8600M GT DDRII 256MB Oh ok, I didnt know because your info on the left under your name is wrong I guess... I am guessing you might have a card that just is not capable of overclocking as high as some others, sometimes you get unlucky like that. I had a card like yours at first and the same thing happened to me I couldnt push the clock very far at all, I had dell replace the card on some trumped up issue and since then I can overclock this card fine. Therefore I suggest one of two things. If the card handels your games how you like them, then just keep it, If you dont care about Benchmarks keep what you got, it may not be worth risking someone opening your laptop to replace it or dealing with CS for a few hours to get them to come out and replace your card. However, If your anal about Benchmarks like me, call up your CS and see if they will replace the card for you.. .Maybe you'll get a card that has more room to OC. Garandhero
I told em I was having graphical issues, poor performace and that my LCD had missing pixels... they replaced my LCD and GFC card.... Funny addition to the story... Dell is now replacing my whole system :) So im getting a brand new one in 5-7 buisness days... which is nice..
