amews_aj
The latest drivers are all pretty well I think. Personally, I use 169.09 on 8600M GT.

amews_aj
Well, I think the newer ones are great too, though I read that some get decrease in FPS, and some even higher temperatures. I read the changelogs for those, and for now, I don't think any of the fixes would do anything for me. Fx bug when returning from hibernation with 8800 cards, but since those are 8600 and 8400, I guess there should be no problem. I would say 169.09 - it improves a lot from 169.04 (laggy) but the newer once I don't know for sure. I think you should try the .09, and if you got any problems, read the changelogs and comments to see if there is any fixes for you. But I'd stick to: If it ain't broken, don't fix it. Some people have had problems when upgrading some drivers, so if you have no problems with latest drivers, don't change anything, might make performance worse.
