xcadaverx
Argh! i'm so frustrated. I have a Macbook pro with an 8600M GT, with vista 32 bit installed via boot camp. I use a 47" 47HL167 Toshiba Regza LCD HDTV as my monitor. It works FINE in OS X Leopard, and WORKED fine in windows XP. I installed Vista because i wanted DX10 support, and my bluetooth was acting up in XP. So i installed Vista. The first drivers that boot camp came with didnt support ANY resolutions for my TV. Nothing would show up on my tv, so i came here, and grabbed 169.09 - I installed it, and it seems to be working fine - so far. I havent tried any games yet. I finally can put my TV into 1920x1080, However, if i do it in 60hz (1080p), windows does not take up the entire screen, and i cant turn flat panel scaling on to make it do so. However, if i am in 1080i (29Hz) it does allow me to take up the entire screen. Is there a reasoning for this? Why did the bootcamp drivers work fine with XP but terrible for Vista? Argh. ;( Thanks!
