Brightness jumps to lowest setting during 3D games

Hello,

I have an Asus A8JS with a Geforce GO 7700 running XTreme-G drivers and everytime I play a 3D Game, the brightness setting jumps to the lowest after a few minutes. I can set it back up with the FN Keys, but it immediately jumps back to low. I really dont know what can cause this, any help and suggestions are appreciated!
