Guest odi
Hello. I have question about that notebook: http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=2767 X1400 in IBM has same specs like X1400 in F-S Amilo Pi 1536 and in lower versions T60 has x1300. So it looks like MXM II or III but I'm little confused, becouse there aren't any IBM laptops in your MXM list.
Ice-Tea
No IBM MXM notebooks, sorry :)
Guest odi
So, do you think Amilo Pi 1536 is good choice for MXM upgrading in future?
Ice-Tea
Maybe. The 8 series of nVidia doesn't seem to work in it. Maybe the next or Ati DX10 offering (working on that) but there is no guarantee something will ever work. Basically, go for the best notebook you can afford right now. That will always be cheaper than an aftermarket upgrade
attah
Sorry for stealing the thread.. But how come? Do the solder? Do they use something else? I opened my R60, but i would have to tear it to pieces to find the graphics card, it seems to be on teh side under a ton of heatpipes and some other general stuff..
