TOSHIBA M3 SCREEN

Hi

I have a toshiba tecra m3 laptop with a screen problem

when i switch on the laptop all lights comes on everything seemes to be working fine execpt the screen stayes black

i tried a connecting to monitor no luck

would be greatful for any help
