chris fennell
Ok... I have used drivers from you guys in the past. But for some darn reason I can't any more. Let me explain: I install your latest drivers with the modified INF... It asks me to reboot, and this I do. All peachy right? WRONG! Every time I see my desktop when its done booting, it gives me a blue screen of death. I tried a few previous versions, same thing. I even right clicked on the .inf and installed, same deal... Last but not least, I went to the device manager and tried to "update" the driver and it did the same thing. I am at a loss, and the drivers I am currently using are from 2003... Can you imagine my gaming with those drivers? YEAH IT SUCKS! For the love of God, someone out there has to have a solution. I'd very much appreciate anything, even if its criticizing me for something. I just need to get this working, as I am soon going to Iraq and this is all I have to take and need something to occupy myself with. Thanks in advance! Morris Lee
one qustion, have you ever reinstalled windows before? or have you been using the same installation of windows? widnows slows down after a while of use, usually 6 month... :) but hey, you can still try abit older driver for it, the latest for your graphics card does not mean it is the best, some times you have to go back a several versions, such as the 158.45 beats some of the drivers today still.... just a thought :) Morris Lee
chris fennell
well... Yeah see thats what my problem is. I just redid this computer a month back and I never backed up the drivers I had(dumbass i know). I had some drivers that were amazing, like 40+ FPS... Now I am lucky to get 15fps... I dont know, I'll tweak around. Im gonna go back a few versions maybe if tweaking doesnt work. Any tips would help. I might have to reinstall windows again? I don tknow. I do know its pissing me off though haha.
Morris Lee
naw, if you reinstalled your windows just a month ago, shouldn't be the problem then, but any luck on remembering what driver version you had before???? Morris Lee
yeah, if you are getting a new lappy, don't get acer these days, their quality is sucking bad now, had a TravelMate C100 tough a s rock, current Aspire 5920 had so many problems already, had to get it shipped in for repaire... was very painful job, took them 12 days when they say it would be about 7 to 10 days only, bunch of douchbags. Try Asus, quite solid might get abit pricy but solid. :) I believe Dell is doing the same thing as Acer now days, cheap s***, but dell is still very expansive... weird..... :)
