reely
I found v167.58 has a problem on my Dell XPS M1330. After installing it, Everest shows 10 degrees higher of GPU Temp. than I8kfanGUI does. Anybody know why? Does it mean this driver is not suitable to my M1330? In fact, I found many other versions Graphic Drivers have the same problem on my M1330. Can anybody explain it? Thx ... Guest lazik
How to check if powermize works on laptop or not? I install dthis drivers on Inspiron 1720 with 8600GT and NHC option for PowerMize is greyed out and can not be checked. I try also with other drivers but in NHC always PowerMize function is disabled. It is normal? Abnormal is NHC behavior: when I start NHC software always screen brightness is lowest (performance or max battery mode - no change in brightnes - always low). and now when I close NHC software and service is running brightness is automatically changed on battery or AC state. I wrote to NHC support but no answer till now. Can you hel me?

Guest Guest
Doesn't work well on GeForce GO 6100 (Compaq Presario F500): Secure Desktops (dark screens of UAC) last 3 seconds of black blank screen. So boring... :) v156.87 are still the best for this gfx board.

Guest Guest
Is anyone getting good results with this in an ASUS G1 8600m GT with DDR3? Trying to decide whether to use this or not. Guest Guest
I found why my Geforce Go 7900GS cannot overclock since 169.04 :) Anyone flashed custom "unlocked" BIOS should flash back to the stock BIOS. This way, I finally can overclock again. :)

Guest Guest
Ok, I posted the question about the ASUS G1 with these drivers, then stopped being lazy and downloaded 3Dmark myself. 167.49 = 4270 167.58 = 4280 Both with a modest overclock using ntune at 520core/760 memory (8600m GT DDR3) Noticed good perfomance increase in Blacksite Area 51 which seemed a little sluggish with the older driver, so i will be keeping the new ones. bogdi1988
167.58 compared to 167.49 i seem to get much smoother frame rate in unreal tournament 2007. only modest overclock in ntune: 510/512 MHz for my 8400M GS Edited January 11, 2008 by bogdi1988
junkalam
Tested on ASUS G1s - 8600m GT 256mb GDDR3 no OC. 3Dmark06 score: 167.49 = 3926 167.58 = 3953 Highest temperature reached during testing was 95C according to rivatuner. Average was around 88C.
PhoenixReborn
I get decent average fps on my G1S but there's RIDICULOUS stuttering in some of my games once the card heats up. It's at best very annoying at at worse totally unplayable. My player in Crysis looks like he's limping. Guest Jaysont34
Hey, I tried this driver out, and it seems ok, the only problem I had was in World of Warcraft some artifacts started appearing but this happened only once. I have another problem thought, I have been able to get my Powermizer to be working since...well lets say its been a good 3-4 months and I dont remember which driver it was that I had it working with. I have the 8600 GS (the underclocked version that was shipped with asus laptops :) ). If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. If it helps, I do the whole uninstall, reboot in safe mode, use driver sweeper method to uninstall a driver. Is there any other method that I can know for sure i get the driver fully uninstalled, maybe like a manual method, cause maybe the problem is some older driver files might have been left over or who knows... Thanks again in advance :)
Guest Guest
Hi guys does this driver support 16:10 because I can't use the 1280*800 widescreen mode could I change this with the modded inf or does somebody know how I could use this modes in another way? (I have a c90s 8600m GT 512MB vram)
bogdi1988
my laptop works perfectly with 1280*800. the easiest solution is to just replace the inf. u only lose the whql, but that's not really important.
