mobilenvidia
Micosoft update has pulled the Vista versions from their website, no idea why. WinXP versions how ever are still there. So luckily for you I went over yesterday to grab them or we would not have the chance to try them :) They work fine for me, except I think the modded INF is introducing a taskbar glitch (flicker) when pages open. Modded INF does how ever allow powermizer to work (could be reason for above issue) Overclocking works for me and these drivers. For those wanting Overclocking and other features added to the nV control panel grab the latest nTune from here This also has a temp monitor for those wanting to keep an eye on this. I highly recommend nTune even though you may also be using RivaTune or other GPU utilities.
Guest Guest
I don't know if it is only bad luck, but after installing it yesterday and it worked ok, but when today I switched on my laptop, it didn't work even the bios log, only the screen was lightning so I had to put off the battery, and then i uninstalled these drivers and installed my old ones 156.87, and my computer is working ok again. Maybe there is a problem with these new drivers, so I post this if someone has the same problem than me. Sorry for my English
Guest Guest
I forgot to say I have Vista 64 bits and, after rebooting the laptop I used scandisk, should I do any thing more? i mean if there could remain something wrong or an error in the disk of the registry becaused of these drivers. This is the first day I write here, but i like this web. Congratz
terror_adagio
The taskbar glitch happens with powermizer off too. It is really annoying. Its been happening with every release of 169xx after 169.09. I never had it with 169.09. Edited January 10, 2008 by terror_adagio
Guest hola
All 167.xx are rubbish. You lose much of the serious 'eye candy' that your card used to support with 156.xx and gain nothing. Lost features with 167.xx series (XP and Vista - Go 7300/7400 (256 MB VRAM) and M 8400 GS (512 MB VRAM)) include rippled water and light reflection on water, both in Second Life (preferences show them disabled, as it you are running an Intel GMA 900/950 card)--more about these features at: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Render_Correctness_Test

I'll do some investigating to find the cause, it is annoying. luckily powermizer works to make up for it
Guest JigoloPete21
If you could look into the taskbar glitch problem that would be great! My screen seems to occasionally shake/flicker mildly when opening new windows in Vista x86. Seems to happen even with 167.xx series. I have a go7950GTX. Whew, I thought I was the only one having this problem and it's been driving me crazy!
Guest pplikos
hello to everybody. i would like to ask whats the difference of 156.00 vs 167.00 . i know 169.00 are modded from the deskotop ones, but the 150 series and 167 confuse me. i have 167.49 and was thinking should i had 156.87 ? or 169.28 ? or upgrade to 167.58 ? i have a hp pavilion 9542, with 8600m gs, 2 giga ram, 2gh dual core-4mb cache, and vista 32 bit. so far no problems with games, but i feel that when i moved from 169.09 to 167.49 there was a drop in performance. also could not change my resolution to 1280x800 that i used to use, only 1280x720. and then to the native 1440x900. like the drivers dont support 16:10, only 16:9 . thanks for any reply ! happy new year to everybody ! Guest Parnn
Hi, I tried these out and both ntune and atitools are unable to change the clocks, any ideas?
Guest SA
I downloaded these to my XPS M1330 - 128 MB GeForce Go 8400 GS. Halo had annoying artifacts and felt like I was moving through jello - this was as compared to the stock 153.69, I believe. My Windows Experience Index did go from 4.0 to 4.1, but I certainly did not experience that in Halo, as I said above.
