Orgtack
I have a Hp laptop in a docking station which is hooked up to two Samsung LCD monitors. if i shut the laptop screen bothn monitors work fine and i can run an extended desktop between the two. as soon as i open the laptop screen one of the monitors turns off and the extended desktop moves so that the laptop is the primary screen. How can i run all three toigether as one big extended desktop? i just want to have my emails allways open on my laptop screen while i do my work on the two other screens without purchasing extra hardware.... if i can switch between all the screen without changing any cables doesn't that mean i have enough video adapters to run all three ? :)
Bill
There we only 2 or 3 non SLI nvidia cards ever made that can run more than 2 monitors at a time, and they are not for laptops. You need either an SLI laptop with known 4 monitor support (I don't know of any) or you need one of those triplehead2go type things to split a vga or DVI signal among the 2 external monitors.
