clmt Posted January 17, 2008 Report Share Posted January 17, 2008 (edited) Hi, i recently bought gears of war and i had the game running fine, i have an amd turion 64 x2 2.00mhz, 2gb of ram, nvidia 8400m gs prosser with forceware driver 163.67. When i first installed the game the fps was fine but the game was crashing so i thought it might be a graphics card issue, I found out it was a microsoft problem with vista. My problem is i turned some things on or off in the nvidia control panel and now that the game wont crash but the fps is slow (about 5-10) and im not sure what i did and i cant seem to fix it no matter what i've tried. Morris Lee Posted January 17, 2008 Report Share Posted January 17, 2008 tried make all nvidia settings to default? tried newer drivers? gears of war is not very well coded in PC version, even though it is UT3 engine... as far as I know.... cause my overclocked 8600m gt get some hiccups during the game(alot) but UT3 itself runs like cupcake :) so yeah, maybe wait for a patch for GOW...
