display goes on and off when laptop lid is closed.

Hey, sometimes when my laptop lid is closed, it still comes on and off every few seconds, and i hear the 'device has been pulled out' and 'put back in' noises.

and also. when i plug my laptop into my tv via HDMI and i shut the lid, the video on the tv keeps going on and off and i get the 'device has been pulled out' and 'put back in' noises.

what can i do about this? ive tried a bunch of different drivers but none fix it. it just came up.

windows says my current driver version is 7.15.10.9815
