Hi all,

I want to configure my M8400GT (modded inf powermizer)...

;Powermizer settings

HKR,, PowerMizerDefault, %REG_DWORD%, 3

HKR,, PowerMizerEnable, %REG_DWORD%, 1

HKR,, PowerMizerLevel, %REG_DWORD%, 3

HKR,, PowerMizerLevelAC, %REG_DWORD%, 1

HKR,, PowerSaverHsyncOn, %REG_DWORD%, 1

HKR,, EnableCoreSlowdown, %REG_DWORD%, 1

HKR,, EnableMClkSlowdown, %REG_DWORD%, 1

HKR,, EnableNVClkSlowdown, %REG_DWORD%, 1

Can you explain me the configuration file ?

What are the values 1, 2, 3 for PowerMizerLevelAC, PowerMizerEnable, PowerMizer... ??

Thanx a lot

One some they represent boolean code. 0 = off, 1 = on. Some that use 1, 2, 3 represent user involvement.

1. Would be system auto select where you don't have any control.

2. Is minimum user activity with AC or DC power level selection only.

3. Is maximum user interface that includes power level selection for AC and DC sources and SmartDimmer.

HKR,, PowerMizerDefault, %REG_DWORD%, 3

HKR,, PowerMizerEnable, %REG_DWORD%, 1

HKR,, PowerMizerLevel, %REG_DWORD%, 3

HKR,, PowerMizerLevelAC, %REG_DWORD%, 1

HKR,, PowerSaverHsyncOn, %REG_DWORD%, 1

These settings are used on many laptops.

The other three:

HKR,, EnableCoreSlowdown, %REG_DWORD%, 1

HKR,, EnableMClkSlowdown, %REG_DWORD%, 1

HKR,, EnableNVClkSlowdown, %REG_DWORD%, 1

Are used for MXM and Module Cards used in laptops to regulate the Fan controls and temperature monitors.

Thank you very much.

But I don't understand 2) and 3) :)

What are AC / DC (no the band lol) ?

Can you give me an example with 2 or 3 please ? (HKR,, PowerMizerLevel, %REG_DWORD%, 2) ?

"HKR,, PowerMizerLevel, %REG_DWORD%, 3" = DC ?
