The algorithms on a Quadro CAD-oriented card tend rather to complete all rendering operations, even if that introduces delays or variations in the timing (Quadros using Geforce GPUs). This difference is achieved through firmaware and drivers controlling the GPU (the GPUs remain the same for Quadro and Geforce). So these drivers are not for action/speed/high fps! OpenGL apps like FlightGear are definitely better with this driver. PowerMizer and nTune work perfectly well. Very highly recommended. Guest Dante Posted February 9, 2008 Report Share Posted February 9, 2008 I own a M1730, 8700M GT SLI on, 169.61 does yield some result but compared with 171.16, this guy run nowhere. With 171.16, i gt 60fps in Bioshock, 1365*785 or sumthing like that(widescreen) and with every thing max, run on Vista, Cant take measure by 3Dmark or PCmark, hang everytime i use them. But the 171.16 gives me heat, lotsa heat!!!!, @ idle in SLI, it runs ard 60+. sometimes peaking @ 70+(no idea why it is so), when loaded, it can go up 2 79C. so Im thinking of trying the 167.45, hope it gives me something.T_T Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
