JohnnyHong
Im using the program CPUID and im getting these temps on my stock clock GPU. Value: 55 degrees CELCIUS MAX: 57 degrees Celcius Those temps are when i am not playing games. I really need to cool my laptop if i want to overclock my gear but..is there a good way to prevent overheating? Is an external laptop cooling pad good /necessary? My laptop has a battery stand which works like most laptop coolers without fans. It promotes air circulation on the bottom of my laptop so that it doesnt pile up much. I still feel unsafe to overclock my laptop! Can somebody tell me if 50 degrees~ without gaming is good? I need feedback for those who overclocked Btw, im thinking of overclocking my 8400M GT GDDR3 graphics to about 600 Core/500 Memory or 600/500 Geting about 65 degrees celcius when playing games I dont want my laptop to pass 70 degrees so im trying to play on the safe side here.
