Darmdorf Posted February 25, 2008 Report Share Posted February 25, 2008 I just want to remind other readers, that the cooling pad mentioned above has nothing to do with the "thermal pads" factory-applied to cpu & gpu [in lieu of thermal compound or paste]. The effectiveness of such coolers is greatly affected by the laptops fan configuration; i.e. is air pulled in from the rear, bottom, side.
