What is normal GPU temperature for GeForce 8400M GT in Sony Vaio VGN-AR41L?

Everest Ultimate shows ~56-58 C in idle.

What is "normal" when gpu is fully active?

It's pretty normal that you have a temperature from 56-58. My laptop has the same temperature (55 Celcius) also in idle.

But i dont have a Sony Vaio VGR-AR41L with a 8400M GT but a Acer Aspire 5920G with a 8600M GT. Sow you can say that temperature is absolutly normal.

In all of my lappies the fan has kicked into life at about 60 C. So 2D temps have hovered between 55 and 60.

i've too noticed that the fan kicks in about 60C ... so it totally normal to hover about 55 / 60 --- i have the exact average :) 57 :)
