Where is my monitor

My card is geforce 6600 go

I have tried so many drivers, such as 167.58,174.31...etc

After I installed the driver,the OS(vista) cann't detect the monitor(for I use a notebook,this 'monitor' means the notebook's LCD screen).

ON this situation, you can sea images on the monitor, just like it work well as usual, but in fact,in the Vista's Device Manager ,there is no monitor device to be listed,in the Nvidia control panel, there is only a monitor named 'laptop display 0',and any changes you made on it cann't be saved.

When Sleep the notebook and then wake it up,all things go well, you can find a monitor device in the Device Management, you can find a monitor named'Portable computer monitor' in the Nvidia Control Panel, and the changes like the 'Display Zoom set up' you make will be saved. But the next time I boot the notebook,It's gone again...

If I enforced assign a driver which contains in the vista, what I says above would not happen, but the Original Vista's driver is too simple to help making some useful work.

My English is poor :) Thanks a lot
