Fredrik2k4
Nice drivers!! :) About 20 more points then 174.31 on my XPS 1530! :)
Guest Wayw
I have problems with all the latest drivers on my m1330. Basically the computer gets to hot and starts throttling down to the low-power 3d clocks, even if i don't overclock. The latest driver i tried and did not have any big problems with was 169.09 i think. Anyone know a way around this, or have any driver they use and are satisfied with on their m1330? Guest kvoskaki
I had an issue where suddenly my 8600M GS was identified as 8400GS(not a mobile own),and from that point and on all driver identified it as such. So powermizer was off by default. Even though, I could manually install them for the correct nvidia chip and everything was working fine. My temp went from 45 to 55. Have you checked the installed devices for the correctness of the display chip?
Guest Wayw
Device drivers show the correct display adapter at least and NVIDIA Control Panel identifies it correctly as well. It is kind of understandable that it wants to throttle though since my idle temp is at 76 and it jumps straight to ~105 when it is under load. I know these temps are high, but i think the temps in the m1330 is higher than what you would normally see as safe for all owners.
guigui
i have same problem with alienware m9750....8700gt sli. I ll try 169.
andygb40
Doesn't work too well on my Laptop. Gives me lower temps, but MUCH lower performance in games, than 174.16. Also had a couple of driver crashes with windows restarting the driver during gameplay. Ho hum, looks like I'll have to wait for the next driver and see how good/bad that is. Guest Wayw
i have same problem with alienware m9750....8700gt sli.I ll try 169.09 I have tried most of the newest drivers and some older ones, and seems like both 169.09 and 169.12 works well for me. Using 169.12 at the moment and they work well even with OC'ing them to 540/750 (400/600 is the original clocks). Temperature is a bit high, around 95 when playing games, but I get that even when I don't OC. There is however no throttling or any other problems I have seen yet with these drivers. Jstn7477
Half Life 2: Episode 1 is having some major texture problems with these: flickery textures, complete patches of flashing/screwed up textures. But I can oc to 600MHz core now :) -J.B.
