Guest nightshadow Posted January 3, 2004 Report Share Posted January 3, 2004 I want to suggest a litte mod i made to your latest inf. tested with forceware 53.03 in section [nv_SoftwareDeviceSettings_NV17_Toshiba_BTR80] i add this key: "HKR,, AllowNonDFPAsPrimary, %REG_DWORD%, 1" This allow me to select an external monitor as primary monitor. previously, i cannot ceck te ralative box, because not allowed. I have a toshiba sat 1950-801, and is affected by EDID problem. with this mod i have no problem, but need to be tested with other system. NOTE: if i shut down the system with external monitor activated as primary monitor, and restart it with only Flat panel connected, the driver correctly recognize this new situation an reset DFP as primary. With previous forcevare (version 52.xx) this will not work. system will continue to use this external "ghost monitor" as primary.
