Also how do I find out what my SUBSYS_ID is? One more question is should I uninstall and use driver cleaner? I heard that was the best thing to do then install. LSudlow Posted March 26, 2008 Report Share Posted March 26, 2008 Try all three infs, including ours, and see which works best for you. Although uninstalling the driver in the Windows Control Panel is a good idea, you don't need to use Driver Cleaner unless you run into problems. When trying the three infs, there's no need to uninstall first since the driver files don't change. In the device manager, look in the properties for your video card. You'll find the subsys ID there. Dirton Posted March 26, 2008 Report Share Posted March 26, 2008 Well I noticed that OEM inf's are offering only a part of features, modded inf unlocks everything (except OC) in the driver panel even if that everything doesn't work, like PowerMizer or SmartDimmer. PowerMizer tweaking actually works, but only through registry. I wish there would be a way to make SmartDimmer function under XP. :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
