Guest Melvin.FoX
What about performance? Is it better than previous one? Some known problems?
Dox
havent noticed much difference than the 174.70, which was a good driver in its own right. But this one bout the same, i cant be bothered to re change back :)
Guest r0ze
This driver fetched me 3402 3DMarks on my Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 2,2GHz with the 8600M GT and 2048MB ram. I haven't tested 3Dmark with any other drivers yet, however, I recall seeing the same setup getting 3,1k some places so I think this is quite good! Thanks for the sweet driver. c69k
Hi, I installed this driver on my clevo m570U with 7950 gtx. No need for a modified info if you have a Clevo I suppose:)...as I did not need it during the installlation. (uninstall/safe mode/driver sweeper/install). Performance is very good, card overclocks with riva tuner, FINALLY no vertical tearing with ANY video playback. This may be due to the fact that even though I set the powermizer option on ON with this driver, the card still keeps its highest clock (575/700). With the modified inf which I used in the past with other drivers (i.e. 169.xx), the card downclocked to 2D clocks in desktop mode....but at the expense of vertical tearing in SOME videos. So....now when in desktop mode, my card gets temperature of about 50; comparing to 35 with working powermizer with 169.XX and modified inf. With games I get always somewhere under 70 celsius. I definitely keep this one peace
Guest Brent
Is there a 64bit version of this one?
3-S-E
This is by far the best driver for my GeForce Go 7700 on my A8Js Asus Notebook. It's the only driver of all I've ever tested, that does not overclock my graphiccard to Power3D-clocks when using my external LCD-Monitor (over DVI) as primal monitor. Rivatuner says, the 7700 works at Low-Power 3D at 200 Mhz clock-speed. But why it does not downclock to 2D-Mode? It would be by far the economical mode... ??? Nevertheless the smard-dimmer function still doesn't work - and has never did. :-( Lack of hardware-support for it? Performance sould be good, but I haven't tested it yet. EDIT: Wrong allert! I've forgot to plug in the power-connector! :-P In batteriemode it is LowPower3D, in ac/dc mode it is HighPower3D clocking... :-( Damn it! DCP11OC
9,258 Marks in 3DMark05 with new O.S. install. Default. 154 average fps on Counter-Strike: Source stress test. I normally get 140 with the same settings. I am well impressed with these drivers. Highly recommend. So far stable.

Darth Llama
Working great so far on Asus A8JS (Go 7700.) Great performance and very stable using XP Pro Service Pack 2. Anyone know if these work with XP Media Centre SP 2? My friend has an HP Laptop with a 6150 and Media Centre and we can never get any of these drivers to work for him. :)
therealleimi
Everything works fine so far. Tested only Assasins Creed but it runs flawlell and it seems that the framerate is more stable now. I also noticed that the occasional sound-stuttering is recuced.

Guest guest
These drivers don't seem to work with a laptop and a Dell 2407WFP at 1920x1200 native resolution. The Dell 2407WFP scrolls right and left. Any suggestions? Using the Nvidia Multi-Display setup wizard doesn't even show 1920x1200 as an available option for the Dell, but it does for the laptop display. Guest Guest
I've had the exact same problem with other Drivers and would very much like to know what's causing it. I have a Clevo M570U and NVIDIA GeForce 7900 Go GTX.
