Fred Acree
GOOGLE EARTH FREEZES. Brand new HP Pavilion dv9700t laptop. GeForce 8600M GS with most current driver. Vista Business32. Intel DuoCore T7250 2 GIG HZ. 3 GIG RAM. So far help from HP, NVIDIA, Vista, Google have been unable to troubleshoot beyond passing the buck off to the others and have not fixed the problem. Any good troubleshooters out there? Fred
®®®
Do a search for KMZ files. Copy them to a safe location. They hold your saved locations. Uninstall Google Earth. After that do an explorer search on your C:\ drive for "Google". If you only had Google Earth installed, deleted everything it finds. Open the registry editor and do a search for google. Delete everything. Install latest DirectX March Release. Reboot. Download latest GoogleEarth and install. Done :)
