Using Maya. Want newer Driver but how? Quatro possible?

Hi :)

i've tried Maya 8.5 today on my new D70 and the original 101.xx nVidia/Samsung drivers.

But Maya seems to have a Problem with it, since it really stands still for a Moment when i try to select a highpoly mesh and then continues.

I'd like to install a Quatro based driver, but don't know if its possible for a mobile 8600GS.

If not then i'd like to install a newer driver, but all newer drivers have Problems with the Screenbrightness..the FN+Dim Buttons

don't work properly and the Screen just pops to full brightness and turns dark after 5 Minutes and pops back to life and stuff like that.

Tried AutoDim off Stuff and everything.

Can anyone help me or provide me with a Tut for making a proper INF for my Laptop? Quatro Driver preferred! :)
