dodo.ger Posted April 15, 2008 Report Share Posted April 15, 2008 hi everybody! as nobody answered on the other topic about the 8800m gts ive searched around and finally found a driver that "should" work. its really a bit much info on here imo, i wonder how a normal user finds his way around here. anyway, i will probably use the 174.74 xp driver for this card and i was wondering if i can use the original vista 32bit inf from gateway to install the driver or if i should use the modded inf or one of the original ones that come with the driver? on a sidenote, on the reference list it says the gateway laptops use NVGM.INF, in the vista driver from gateway is a NVWI.INF though. maybe you should fix that or is that normal? would be glad if anybody could help, tia!
