michelcat Posted May 11, 2008 Report Share Posted May 11, 2008 Hi, I have the 8600GT in my acer Lap, and i experienced problems since a few days now. After about 20mins of game time the gpu slows-down to half power (from 475Mhz to 225(core) and from 200 to 100(memory)). The slowdown comes randomly, in temps from 70c to 80c. When idle, the temp of my GPU is about 60-65 degrees, while gaming reaches about 80. I have a zalman cooler under the laptop I never overclock I am not smart enough to buy something else than acer... thanx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
