Drwaltoa
I've been trying to get Crysis to run on my new laptop (full specs to the left) but can't get the framerate to anything playable, even at low settings. I've tried updating my GPU drivers, but it hasn't helped. Any ideas?
CooLMinE
Assuming you got 2 GB ram. Tried running Crysis in 800x600 res and everything on low ?
anonymous1986
The 8600m GS is not powerful enough to run crysis at decent detail. Is your gpu ddr3 or ddr2? And how much ram does it have? With my 8600m GT 256mb ddr2 i could only get decent framerates ~40 at the lowest settings in the demo.

Drwaltoa
Yep - it is 2gb ram, and the processor is a 2.0ghz centrino duo (4.0ghz in total). I've tried the game again, and this time managed to get it playable at 800 by 600 on low settings. I restarted the computer and it seemed to help. Thanks for replying so quickly.
