picooz
Hi, First of all... I really thank you for this web site. I saved the cost of a new laptop with your driver. I have a Compaq Presario AMD with NVidia GeForce4 440 64Mb Video Card. I experienced serious issues with the card recently: vertical lines, blue screen on WinXP startup. At that time, I was using NVidia driver provided by HP. I decided to get rid off the NVidia driver. With that config, no issue with starting WinXp nor presence of vertical lines....but crap display. I did google-search for the issue and find out that a lot of customers have same experience with their Presario laptop w/ NVidia card. In most cases, the conclusion was that the NVidia card in those laptop models is defectuous: a lawsuit was even filed against HP/Compaq for the issue. Then I found your web site. I picked a driver (94.22) and everyhing seems to work perfectly on the first try. Could not believe it!!!!!! The only thing that "bothers" me is a window that opens at the OS startup: RUNDLL Error loading nvHotkey.dll The specified module could not be found. Any suggestions how I can fix that? Thank u
CooLMinE
Go to start -> run type msconfig, then go to startup tab and search for anything matches nvHotkey, disable it and see if you still get the error Edited May 15, 2008 by CooLMinE
