Guest Sptz
Hi, I have a Macbook Pro 2.4 15" w/ 8600m GT gfx card... the thing is... I downloaded gpu-z and it says my default clocks are: core: 470mhz , memory: 635mhz and shader: 940mhz.. But.. on the sensors tab it says that my core is at 169mhz and memory at 100mhz and GPU Temperature at 73ºC !!! I do have some youtube tabs opened... but what's the deal with these clocks?!? Is this slowing down my game performance?! I have Vista 32bit with 174.74... help plz
aliveanddead86
Its under clocked as you are not using 3d performance. The card does not need to clock itself up to 470, 635 and 940 whilst you are not using any 3d applications hence why the sensors say differently, as that is their current clocks. If you run a game, check it then. Should be the 470,635,940 clocks.
