Guest thomaskc Posted June 1, 2008 Report Share Posted June 1, 2008 Hello everyone I have a 8600m gs 256mb ddr3 and it seems to be somewhat hardware locked when it comes to OC, gpu-id wont let me read the vga bios so i cant save it and change it :/ However! as the only driver for now 169.04 is the ONLY driver I can overclock in... and its fast! :) though, the driver is very old and doesnt have all the game boosts that the new drivers has (ex. 175 series) which i need. Here is the question, anyone figured what makes the 169.04 overclock ? which is different from the rest? registry key ?! something compiled into the dlls ? anything?! I would REALLY like to be able to OC my damn gfxcard :/ it makes a world of difference in games. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
