pegazus Posted June 1, 2008 Report Share Posted June 1, 2008 I try lots of drivers 169.09 / 169.61 / 169.47 / 169.39 and all the time when i play on wow i got an ips problem like going to less than 10ips ( on connect 60 ips ). Sometimes after 1h-2h sometimes after 10-20min. I really get bored by this i got an ASUS Notebook G2S Intel core 2 duo T7500 2.2 GHz 2GO RAM Vista 32bits and a Geforce 8600M GT 256Mo Anyone got a solution for me or try with the same config a good drivers for wow and my ips problem ? Dox Posted June 2, 2008 Report Share Posted June 2, 2008 make sure you are on vista sp1 as they contain the "hotfixes" for nvidia cards. Make sure you try a newer driver like 175.16 Also the low FPS you are experiencing may due to "thermal throttling": card downclocks itself when too hot. To solve that makse sure you laptop's air vents are clean from dust or blockages and has room to vent all the way round. if you want a driver for best temps, use the 167.xx drivers. all drivers are found in the forums. read the guides in my sig for my details.
