Guest Elmo
Hi, I have an Vostro 1500, 2,2 Dual Core, 4GB Memory and a GeForce 8600M GT. I have tried the following versions: 167.59_vista 167.62_vista 175.80_vista but in all of them my Frames per Second are between 5-20... Normally i have about 120... Does anyone know whats the Problem here? I have downloaded the versions and modded INF. Installed the driver by installer and i tried via update Driver but nothing worked. I would be glad for some help, thanks.
Dox
what games are you trying? does that happen for all games? when did this start to happen? Do you remember anything you did that could of caused this? download GPUZ: http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/ run it and click sensors tab. start the a game and on gpuz on sensors tab check the clock speeds are as they should be. If they are lower than usual go to control panel and turn power settings to high performance.

Dox
make sure anti aliasing is turned to a lower setting? because they have a big performance impact. in the nvidia control panel make sure "transparent textures" is set to "multisampling" or to "off"
