Zoso Posted June 10, 2008 Report Share Posted June 10, 2008 For some reason my 7800Go is recognized as a 7900Go with modded drivers (167.XX) I've been having problems (especially with startup and waking from sleep mode), could this have anything to do with it? Michael Marley Posted June 14, 2008 Report Share Posted June 14, 2008 I don't think your card being mis-recognized would cause the power management problems, but I could be wrong. I do remember one of the moderators posting something about a setting you can tweak in the registry which sometimes fixes the issue, but I cannot currently remember where it was.
