Guest Mystroe
I am running a HP DV9000 with the go 7600 and win XP. I have been trying (as it would seem many have) to get some good drivers to support AoC. The latest issue I have had is... I uninstall the current drivers, reboot to safe mode. In safe mode it auto reinstalls some driver and does not give me the option to not do that. I uninstall again thru add/remove programs, run driver sweeper and then restart normally. Again it seems to be auto identifying hardware and installing something again. If I go to unistall it, it will start and them pop a screen saying it can find the file to unistall then removes the program from the list. How do I stop the system from auto IDing the hardware? Also some of the issues that I have had with AoC seems to be that it is disabling my video drivers or they are crashing. Setting me back to VGA mode or in some cases VGA mode with just black and white. Any help would be appreciated.
Guest STanMan
I have the same problem, I have a Sager np5792 and I think that is why I cannot upgrade my drivers... The only one that work are the ones I had at the begining ( given with the laptop)... Any other driver will reduce the capacity of the graphic card by 2 or more xX If you can help me too :) you are very welcomed ! Thanks Stanley
zipper
IHow do I stop the system from auto IDing the hardware? Check your Windows update settings - or the computer may have some utility by default to update - like my HP/Compaq. I never allow automatic updates but with Vista it isn't as easy to block as with XP.
