The driver is incompatible with my 8600 m GS (which is really 8400 SE according to RivaTuner) :) For example, Jericho get stucked after minimized-maximized :P

Overclocking blocked, too.

Coming back to patched 158.51 :)

Hi. I have installed this driver on my notebook - MSI M670. My video card is GeForce Go 6100 (PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0247).

Everything is working OK, but when the display goes in power saving mode, it won't turn on again. With some imagination, I manage to start "Display properties" (without actually seeing what I am doing), change the resolution, and when I press OK, the monitor turns on properly.

This happens with most of drivers I have downloaded from here, and I tried 6-7 different versions. Some of them won't even install properly - I get BSOD when the installer says "Installing nvcodins.dll"... Others turn on the monitor properly after power saving mode, but there is a very bad graphics corruption - the picture is _VERY_ blurry and I must restart. I am sure that my hardware is OK, because I have no problems on Linux or with the original drivers that came with my notebook. But the original driver is very old - version 84.87 (according to the MSI site this is the "newest" driver for my video....).

I tried setting MapOSD3toNV to 3 or 2 or delete it, but this does not solve the problem. I also tried to set the same registry settings that the "original" driver sets, but still - no effect.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

I have an Acer 5630 with GeForce 7300 Go and trying to install this driver I've got this:

"The currently selected graphics display can not be used. It was written for a previous version of Windows, and is no longer compatible with this version of Windows.

The system has been started using VGA driver

Please contact hardware manufacturer....."

I'm on WinXP SP3.

Any advice?

Sony VGN-AR11M Modified INF for Vista 32bit release

Since I own a Sony Vaio VGN-AR11M I modified the INF file for this release with the needed ID strings to support the GeForce7600GO 128MB integrated in the notebook.

These are still the best driver for my 8400M G 256M. Well I only say that based on it gives me the best Vista score. These give me 3.5(the weakest number of course) but any other driver I have ever tried from the newest right back to the orginal OEMs give me a 3.4

Im not willing to run 3Dmark06 on it because its just to painful to watch :)
