Hi

I just bought a Asus G1Sn with a GeForce 9500M GS. I'm looking for a latest Vista driver for it. Which one should I use?

Thanks!

Have the same problem.

I've bought a acer aspire 8920g with a GEforce 9500M GS,too.

Seems like there isn't any modfied driver available yet :)

Another possibility is, that I'm only too stupid to find it...

A quick glance into the latest modified Inf revealed:

NVIDIA_G84.DEV_0405.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 9500M GS"

just as i thought...

i was too damn stupid :)

thank you zipper

Oh, come on, I'm before u :)

Thanks, Zipper.

I guess the 177.xxx or 175.xxx series dont really matter. Just install and to see if the card is doing any better, right?

On nVidia's site, the offical driver is 175.16, I guess its no use? Or should I try it first?

Regards

Just place the modded INF in the same folder as the rest of the drivers before you install. Windows will ask you if you would like to overwrite the file that already exists; just tell it yes.

To find the best driver for your card is more a process of trial-an-error than anything else. I would recommend starting off with 175.16 or 177.41.
