firefoxPL
Hello, I have problem with drivers from laptopvideo2go project for 8400m gs. The installation goes nice but after that when I try to change from default laptop screen or external dvi monitor to dual monitor mode I get bluescreen. I forgot to mention that I use Vista 32bit buisness. It is probable that there is a solution somewhere on the forum, but I don't know if its just me or the search feature doesn't work here. Thanks for any help in the topic.
Michael Marley
Which driver version gives you this problem? Have you tried any others?
firefoxPL
when I use drivers that came with the laptop I don't get this problem, but they are quite old, and with the laptopvideo2go drivers I get this problem with every version I tried (which is about 3 or 4 including the latest and the WHQL)
wook
Looks like you solved your own problem. Sounds like a driver issue. You'll just have to try more drivers and see which one does not give you this problem. (unless someone that has the same system as you, and has found a {new-ish} working driver)
firefoxPL
I hoped there is some better solution like other .inf file or something like that instead of crashing system whole bunch of times just to see "maybe this one works? oh no it doesn't" Edited June 25, 2008 by firefoxPL
Michael Marley
Sometimes, things like that just have to be done.
zipper
Aristo seems to be pretty Polish product. If it uses some OEM parts, the best bet for the driver would be from another product which uses the same design (like Fujitsu and Alienware using similar Uniwill parts etc.) so probably the additional features of the driver would be similar.
