Dell official uninstall and reinstall...

Hello there,

I'm in a big trouble.

I downloaded (non WHQL) Dell 174.31 for my M1730 Laptop (dual 8700 GT).

What a pity ! After uninstall those (who was installed previously) and used driver cleaner, I'm now unable to reinstall them...

Installer go through installation process without any change and when I try the "have disk method" it say there's no pilot for the device information set... (in french, it's an aproximative translation).

Can you help me ?

Note I can revert to the only WHQL Dell ever released (15x.xx, don't remember).

Thank you.

You should try downloading the latest driver from the forums here and using the Modded INF. This should allow for the installation of a later version.

I am not sure why Dell's own drivers do not install. Maybe they made a mistake making the INF. However, the easiest solution to your problem would be simply to install the latest LV2G drivers.
